Privacy Policy

Who We Are

Two Pri's Delight is a home bakery making Indian sweetmeats, mix boxes, catering and gift hampers in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

This policy covers what we do with your personal information when you contact us or place an order. It's written to comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act No. 4 of 2013.

What We Collect

We only collect what we need to make and deliver your order:

• Your name — so we know whose order it is.
• Your phone number — so we can confirm and coordinate your order.
• Your delivery address or suburb — so we can deliver to you.
• Your order details — what you ordered, when you need it, and any notes.
• Payment details — for EFT we use the reference and amount. We do not store card numbers, because we don't take card payments.

If you tell us about an allergy or dietary requirement, we keep that note with your order so we don't get it wrong.

What We Don't Collect

• We don't have an account system — there are no passwords or logins.
• We don't run analytics or tracking cookies on this website.
• We don't use advertising trackers or pixels to follow you around the internet.
• We don't collect ID numbers, unless required by law for a specific transaction.

How We Use It

Your information is used only to:

• Make and deliver your order.
• Contact you about your order — confirming details, timing, or delivery.
• Keep a basic record of what you ordered, so we can help you reorder.
• Resolve a problem if something goes wrong.
• Meet our legal obligations, including food safety record-keeping.

We do not send marketing messages without your permission, and we don't add you to any list you didn't ask to be on.

Who We Share It With

We don't sell, rent or trade your information. Ever.

We may share limited details only where genuinely necessary:

• Delivery: if we use a courier or a driver, they'll receive your address and phone number — nothing more.
• WhatsApp: messages are handled through WhatsApp, so Meta's own privacy terms apply to that messaging.
• Our website host: our site is served by a hosting provider who may keep standard technical server logs.
• Law enforcement or regulators: only if we're legally required to.

How Long We Keep It

We keep order records only as long as we need them — generally up to 12 months, so we can help with reorders and resolve any disputes. Food safety records are kept as long as the law requires. After that, we delete them.

WhatsApp conversations sit on your device and ours. You can delete your side at any time, and we can delete ours on request.

How We Keep It Safe

Access to your information is limited to the people actually making and delivering your order — that's a small number of people. Devices are password-protected. We don't hold card data, which removes the most sensitive category of information entirely.

No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach ever affected your information, we would tell you and the Information Regulator as required by POPIA.

Your Rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
• Ask us to delete your information, where we're not required to keep it.
• Object to how we're using your information.
• Withdraw consent for any messaging.
• Complain to the Information Regulator.

To exercise any of these, message us on WhatsApp at 062 792 2489 or 083 882 3281. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and within 30 days.

Children

We don't knowingly collect information from children. Orders should be placed by an adult. If a child has given us information without permission, contact us and we'll delete it.

Other Websites

This site links to WhatsApp and may link elsewhere. Once you leave our site, those other services have their own privacy policies, and we don't control what they do.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Please check back if you'd like to see the current version.
